Our Vision
We want to assist our customers to have comfort and to improve the quality of their living spaces. We do this by advising about the options available for window dressings, assessing if refurbishing existing curtains or blinds may be possible and pointing to where good quality products can be ordered. All of this is considered with keeping rooms warm in winter and cool in summer.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services that are designed to meet the needs of our customers. Locally, we provide services that include taking down and putting up curtains. We advise about refurbishing existing curtains with our 'Silver linings' as well as providing a consultation about the different options for dressing a window.
Please contact us by email to ask about our Silver linings and if they could be right for you. We will need to come to the property to measure up and look at the best way to use the Silver linings to optimise the blackout and heat retention features of the product. This involves assessing where the heating outlets are in the room.
We have a big heart for our planet and can use items that need some tender loving care - by recycling or re-using them to be great again in your space. This may include for example, re-using blinds that are perfectly good but need re-cutting to fit your window.
This has been done successfully by Maria Carter, the founder of Silver linings, who has refurbished her home using second-hand items and pieces salvaged from her local recycling centre and free/low cost products offered via online platforms.
